IN MAKING A BOOKING, YOU ARE AGREEING TO THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS
All bookings are subject to a 1 calendar month cancellation policy i.e. a booking beginning on 1st July must be cancelled before 1st June. If cancellations are
made less than 1 calendar month prior to the start date of the original booking the following charges apply:
Peak times (all dates from February half term through to October half-term, plus the Christmas school holiday): 100% of the total cost of the booking
All other times: 50% of the total cost of the booking
However, we are not greedy and if we can re-let any part of the cancelled booking we will adjust the charge accordingly (and we really hate having to charge, so please make it easy on everyone and make sure that you give enough notice). We strongly recommend that you check your travel insurance to ensure kennel fees are included in your cover.
The 1 calendar month cancellation policy also applies should you wish to shorten your original booking.
Any cancellations or amendments must be confirmed in writing, either by email or letter.
Unfortunately we do not have credit card facilities so payment is by cash or cheque only.
All animals entering the premises must be fully vaccinated. For dogs this includes the kennel cough vaccination. Please note that this is a seperate vaccination to the annual booster and you must request that your vet adminsters it.
We also strongly recommend that cats are vaccinated against feline leukaemia.
We require you to bring your pet's current, up-to-date vaccination certificate which we will keep for the duration of their stay.
Animals arriving without vaccination protection will not be admitted AND in line with our cancellation policy we will charge you for the full cost of the booking.
On arrival all dogs must be on a lead and cats in a secure basket or carrier.
We reserve the right to refuse admission if an animal displays obvious health or behavioural problems.
Should your animal require veterinary attention during their stay, in agreeing to our terms and conditions you also agree that we or our representatives may seek veterinary advice/ treatment, the cost of which you are prepared to meet upon collection of your animal(s).
What if my pet is on medication?
We are happy to administer medication and make no extra charge for this service, but will do so only for non-critical conditions and ask that you discuss this with us prior to arrival.
Beds and Toys
We provide plastic beds of various sizes for both cats and dogs (if your dog is a 'chewer' please tell us on arrival so we can provide them with a suitable bed), and also provide food and water bowls. Please note that we do not provide bedding but instead strongly encourage you to supply your own 'soft furnishings' so that your pet has a blanket or cushion that they are used to and which smells of home. Don't forget that our feline guests need an extra blanket to place on the balcony! Toys are also a good idea, providing the animals with a familiar smell as well as entertainment. Please note all toys and bedding are left at your own risk and before leaving the premises please ensure that you have everything you brought.
